I entered the fitness field in 1993 after years of training in gymnastics, dance, and weight lifting. Since then, I've spent 30 years teaching group fitness, and 27 years in my own business working 1:1 with clients to achieve their highest level of health and fitness, along with an improved overall quality of life.
My extensive training in Fitness Instruction, Nutrition, Psychology, and Behavior Change at the University of Washington, the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, and the American Council on Exercise enables me to go beyond simple nutritional and exercise guidelines to find life-changing strategies and mindset shifts that have a lasting impact on the body and mind.
I approach each mind-body nutrition coaching session with deep listening, active teaching, and personalized guidance as I take the whole person into account, focusing on both body and mind to address issues and unwanted symptoms related to food, body, and weight. I help unravel the confusion from nutritional information overload and help clients discover what is right for THEIR body and its ever-changing needs.
I support and guide clients through new health, fitness, and lifestyle habits that will create sustainable changes from the inside out. I empower clients to become present in their bodies and in their lives, and to find their highest and most sustainable fitness level. It is my personal mission to guide, mentor, and encourage each client through 1:1 work with diet, exercise, and the mind to achieve and maintain a healthier, happier body and mind.
